CD Couplings

Schmidt Couplings

Designed specifically for difficult misalignment applications. The five different Schmidt Coupling types -- Offset, Inline, 5D, Flexible, and Control-Flex® -- provide a full range of design options for solving most misalignment problems.

ETP Shaft Bushings

The Ideal Locking Device for all Shaft-To-Hub Connections. ETP Bushings feature a double-walled sleeve, pressure ring and tightening screws. They slide onto a shaft easily, and securely lock most shaft-mounted motion control components in position.
When the bushing screws are tightened the inner and outer walls of the bushing expand, forming a continuous, tight connection on shaft and hub.

Torque-Tender Mechanical Torque Limiters

Positive drive couplings which provide accurate overload protection in many mechanical power transmission systems. When a jam-up or excess overload occurs, Torq - Tenders disengage motor drives.
When load exceeds the rating determined by precision tempered torque springs, the unit's drive key pivots out of a slot to disengage the coupling. Once the overload is removed and speed reduced, the Torq-Tender resets itself automatically.

H-TLC Torque Limiters

The Torque Setting Is Adjustable. If operating conditions require periodic changes in torque settings, the H-TLC gives you that ability. Simply adjust the unit's external compression bolts until the desired new setting is reached.
It works on a spring- loaded convex pin and detent design which reacts to overloads...but not to lubricants. Unlike friction-type designs, you can submerge an H-TLC in oil and still depend on precise disengagement at your design limits.

Crown Right Angle Gear Drives

Designed for dependable, economical transfer of speed or power, Crown drives are compact and feature efficient, quiet operating spiral bevel gears. They are constructed of high quality materials to help ensure maximum service life with a minimum of maintenance. They are compact and sealed from outside contaminants to provide smooth, quiet operation, even in harsh industrial environments.
Special units can be designed to your specifications with shaft extensions, special machining of shafts or case modifications.

Zero-Max Adjustable Speed Drives

Designed for use on a wide variety of machinery, Zero-Max Drives may be used as primary or secondary drives.
The speed range is infinitely adjustable from 0 to 1/4 of the input speed under full rated load. Reversible models are available with reverse and neutral settings.
They are available in five sizes providing constant torque of 12 to 200 inch pounds throughout the speed range. To achieve the exact performance characteristics you require, Zero-Max Adjustable Speed Drives are available with optional gearheads, motors and C-flange adapters. Some Zero-Max Drives may be purchased with standard electric motors or they may be connected to any rotating power source up to 2000 RPM.
